Patrick Sweeney - Class Of 1980

Patrick William Sweeney...Son of William A. and Anna Sweeney...Patrick was born at Letterman General Hospital, Presidio of San Francisco, California. He was a good, caring and compassionate son. He loved baseball and track. The latter he did exceptional and won several awards. Patrick was a graduate of Madison High School, San Antonio, Texas. Upon graduating he went to New York City and while working at a Money Market Firm, he also attended New York City University. He became ill while there and discovered that he had Burkett's Lymphoma. His brother went up and brought him home, where he had extensive medical care in hope of beating the cancer cells...Patrick lived for about 9 more months when the disease finally over took his frail body. He passed away at Medical Center Hospital. Per his request, Patrick was cremated and placed in a cremains niche at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
There is not a day that goes by with out thinking of Patrick.
"Father in Heaven, we have lost a son..The light from out our life has gone. Please watch over our son until we can all meet again in your Kingdom of Heaven...Rest in Peace!"
