What a great man he was. I just remember how much fun it was to hang around with him one last time at the 10 year reunion before he passed. He always could put a smile on someones face.

I was blessed to know Robert and call him my best friend.   A day rarely goes by that I don't think of him.  He was a great guy and I was better for knowing him.   He was a friend to many, a great father and a devoted husband.

I miss you bud

Robert was such a great person. I remember his love for playing the drums, his strong faith in God, and his affinity for having fun and goofing around. I still remember his unique laugh. He had three younger sisters that he loved very much, as well as his mother. His father had passed away a few years earlier so Robert was the man of the family. Anyways, I remember that he lived in Austin with his wife Laura and two young daughters when he was getting treated for cancer and they would drive into SA. During one of those trips, he was at a fast food restaurant and he had his toddler daughter give a beggar $ so he could eat. That was the kind of selfless, kind man Robert was. He was thinking about others even while he was fighting for his own life. Robert, thanks for being my friend. You are missed!

Anita
